Troubleshooting Login Problem on Windows 7 / Vista when Accessing Samba

Sesuai dengan judul, kita akan bahas mengenai permasalahan pada windows vista maupun windows 7 yang selalu gagal saat login ke Samba Server. Hal ini lumayan bikin pusing, agar tidak lupa saya menulisnya di sini. Hal ini muncul saat kita mau mengakses file sharing yang menggunakan Samba (UNIX maupun Linux) dan File Sharing yang menggunakan Windows 2000 dan Windows 98 yng berfungsi sebagai file server.

Ikuti step-step sebagai berikut

1. Buka Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy- Local Policies - Security Options

2. Pilih Network security: LAN Manager authentication level

Dalam tulisan singkat ini akan dibahas mengenai pembuatan pastisi atau file system baru di System operasi AIX

Kita akan membuat file system sebagai berikut
- Nama logical volume = test_lv
- Tipe File System : JFS2 (Mengenai JSF2 bisa di baca di http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/aix/v6r1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.aix.baseadmn/doc/baseadmndita/fs_jfs_jfs2.htm)
- Mount point /test

Ok kita akan mulai membuat Logical Volume terlebih dahulu ketik : smitty lv

smitty lv

Move cursor to desired item and press Enter.

List All Logical Volumes by Volume Group
Add a Logical Volume
Set Characteristic of a Logical Volume
Show Characteristics of a Logical Volume
Remove a Logical Volume
Copy a Logical Volume

--> Pilih Add a Logical Volume

Mengubah default username length dari OS AIX 5.3

Secara default username length dari OS AIX 5.3 adalah 9 karakter. Dalam tulisan ini akan di ubah username length menjadi 30 karakter

Berikut langkah-langkahnya

1.       Login as root,

2.       Lakukan command seperti di bawah:

Installing PHP CURL and JSON Extension on Centos

Iseng-iseng di hari libur mencoba script PHP yang ada CURL dan JSON, dan langsung upload ke VPS saya. Setelah di coba-coba , ternyata VPS saya yang udah saya install Web server dan php belum support CURL dan JSON. Oke disini kita akan bahas cara enable fungsi CURL dan JSON di Centos.

1. Install dan enable CURL

Install curl dengan yum dengan Command line sebagai berikut :

yum install curl curl-devel

2. Install dan enable JSON

-Sebelumnya kita install dependensinya dulu sebagai berikut

yum install php php-pear php-devel

yum install gcc make

-Download JSON Package dengan menggunakan pecl

pecl download json
